Toronto Party for Issue 7: Winter Formal Slowdance!

This summer, Worn head office (aka my living room) made the big move from Montreal to Toronto. Issue 7 is the first product out of our new city and I’m nervous and excited for everyone to see it. Since the Prom Slowdance party we threw to celebrate issue 6 went soooo well in Montreal, we decided hook up with the Slowdance Night team again and throw a Winter Formal Slowdance here in Toronto. We’re having at the Dovercourt House, a lovely old dance studio that will be decked with crepe paper streamers, balloons, mirror ball. you get a dancecard to reserve a special tune and Resident Dancers for any shy boys and girls.

I hope to see you there!
Saturday, November 29th, 9pm-2am
Dovercourt House (805 Dovercourt Road, right near the subway)
10$ cover gets you issue 7 and a dancecard

xoxo, Serah-Marie

OMG I haven’t slow danced since high school this is amazing, who thought of this?!?

  4. Serah-Marie Says:

The glory of the slowdance night idea belongs to Montreal’s Amber Goodwyn of Lickity Split zine and Sherwin Tjia of Perpetual Emotion Machine Productions who created Slowdance Night as a regular thing in Montreal. Worn just adds the dress-up part to the mix.

if there was ever a moment to chose between a 1930’s cutaway and a 1955 Tux, this is it.

advance warning would have been great cause i aint a fairy godmother, but will do my best to inspire the glamour you deserver to see, for taking the chance on moving home base of your fabulous magazine to Toronto.

welcome and I hope to be there before the strike of midnight
