WORN at Zine Dream 2

Thursday, August 27th, 2009

Come say hi to the Wornettes and pick up a couple copies of WORN at Zine Dream 2 this weekend… it’s our first time at Zine Dream, a small press art fair with over 50 vendors of handmade arts and crafts, zines, prints, workshops, performances, and music. Looks like it’s going to be quite the shindig!

Sunday, August 30th at the Tranzac Club (292 Brunswick Ave., Toronto)

Words on Wheels

Monday, December 29th, 2008

I make resolutions for Worn every year. This year, a big one is to take the show on the road more. 2008 was our busiest season yet: City of Craft, Word on the Street, and Canzine in Toronto, Puces POP and Expozine in Montreal, Ladyfest in Ottawa, DIYnot? in Waterloo, and Kazine in Guelph. I’d like to start going to a few father away in 2009, I’ve heard good things about Renegade in New York and Chicago, Crafty Bastard in Washington and the Portland Zine Symposium especially makes me drool. We are not quite ready for overseas, but I’d love to attend Colophone next biennial.

Anyone else know of any shows Worn ought to check out, either zine or crafty, but especially independent magazine?
