A while back, we had a contest to win a pair of heels (as seen in WORN issue 10). Masami, our winner, just sent me images of her wearing the shoes. “I love them and got so many compliments!” she says. “The color is a dead ringer for my mom’s vintage shawl and it offsets my mostly black and grey wardrobe so well.”

During a recent trip home, I brought along a copy of WORN issue 11. My grandfather, who claims he isn’t interested in fashion, couldn’t help but connect with the glasses glossary on pages 12 and 13. He took a photo wearing his own cateye-esque sunglasses, purchased in the 50’s - eat your heart out, Alexander Wang.
