I haven’t paid attention to soccer since winning the M.I.P. award on my fifth grade team (not to brag or anything). Our intern Deua, however, knows how FIFA fever is done. She showed up to our staff meeting last night repping her native Brazil. Dunno about the rest of the world, but I think showing team spirit with awesome disco pants and ripped tights beats the vuvuzela any day.

A few behind the scenes shots from the Issue 10 cover photoshoot. We’ve taken to putting our staff on the cover… the model is our intern Avyn. The hair and make-up (by our make-up reviewer Bella B.) looks a bit crazy here, but it turned out really pretty. I can’t wait until it’s up for sale.

In January we shot one of our Issue 10 photo spreads with Lisa Kannakko, inspired by food and fashion! The proofs are looking good, but you’ll have to wait and see. I don’t want to give too much away, but I will say it involves a chicken.
