During a recent trip home, I brought along a copy of WORN issue 11. My grandfather, who claims he isn’t interested in fashion, couldn’t help but connect with the glasses glossary on pages 12 and 13. He took a photo wearing his own cateye-esque sunglasses, purchased in the 50′s – eat your heart out, Alexander Wang.

I will admit his glasses are not nearly as swank/dramatic as the Wang ones, but he gets extra points for letting me borrow them
(actually, I wasn’t sure what category to put these glasses in, as they were more horn-rimmed or browlined, but with a bit of a flourish at the top – that’s more visible in real life. Can somebody help me out? This is causing me great distress).
